AHLS uses this policy to protect delegates, employers, sponsors, community access recipients, and event planning commitments. Final ticket terms should be reviewed at checkout before purchase.

If you purchased the optional invitation-letter add-on, it is refundable (less the fee) until the letter is issued. Once issued, it is non-refundable except under the visa-refusal terms below.
If your visa is denied, send us your official refusal letter within 30 days and we refund your payment less the USD 500 administrative fee.
Administrative fee
A non-refundable administrative fee applies to every approved refund (it covers processing, payment-provider charges, and the work already done on your registration):
- International, corporate, and invitation-letter purchases: USD 500.
- Domestic delegate and team passes: the lesser of CAD 500 or 15% of the pass price.
- Single-day passes and community access: non-refundable.
Standard cancellation
Requests received on or before August 2, 2026 (60 days before the summit) are refunded less the administrative fee. Requests received after that date are non-refundable. Refunds are returned to the original payment method; payment-provider processing fees may be non-refundable.
Invitation letter (optional add-on)
AHLS is a leadership summit, not a visa service. The invitation letter is an optional add-on issued only after interview, approval, and full payment, and it never guarantees a visa or entry — immigration decisions rest solely with the Canadian authorities.
- Before the letter is issued: refundable less the administrative fee.
- After the letter is issued: non-refundable, except under the visa-refusal terms below.
Visa refusal refund
If your visa application is refused, you may request a refund of your payment less the USD 500 administrative fee, subject to verification:
- Submit your official immigration refusal letter (showing the application/reference number, your name, and the decision date) within 30 days of the decision.
- The details must match your AHLS registration. Our team verifies every refusal letter before any refund is issued.
- One refund per applicant. Altered, forged, or mismatched documents void eligibility and may be reported.
- Being approved but not attending, or not providing a verified refusal letter, does not qualify for a refund.
Transfers
Organizations may transfer a delegate pass to another person from the same organization before the published transfer deadline, at no charge (one transfer per pass).
Community access
Community access and subsidized tickets may have separate review terms and are not convertible to cash value.
Program changes
Speakers, rooms, agenda timing, and program formats may change as planning progresses. The summit will preserve the promised leadership outcomes and participant experience wherever possible.
